A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO) is a non-profit organization that provides free prosthetic limbs, corrective surgery and rehabilitative care to children in developing countries who have lost their limbs in traumatic accidents or suffer from congenital limb disabilities. In 2013, ALTSO will celebrate its 10th Annual Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest-NYC and 2nd Annual Rocktoberfest-Chicago. The event has been recognized as one of the most unique and highly anticipated fundraising benefits in both the charitable and financial sectors. ALTSO's Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest unites over 1,200 leaders from the hedge fund and related industries for a night of rock and acoustic performances by industry leaders. The event has been instrumental to helping ALTSO treat nearly 9,000 children since 2003. |
