04/08/2013 Email this story  |  Printable Version

MADRID, April 8 (Reuters) - Spain's Treasury Secretary Inigo Fernandez de Mesa said on Monday he does not rule out a new foreign currency bond issue, specifically in dollars.

Spain sold $2 billion of dollar-denominated debt Feb. 20, its first offering in the U.S. currency since September 2009, taking advantage of benign markets to diversify its debt and reduce dependence on domestic investors. (Reporting By Manuel Ruiz; Writing by Paul Day)
