Company Description
Sector SPDRs are unique Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that divide the S&P 500 into nine sector index funds thereby allowing you to customize your investments by picking and weighting these sectors to meet specific investment goals. You can buy or sell Sector SPDRs throughout the trading day. Limit, market and stop-loss orders can be utilized with the same flexibility as with individual stocks. The holdings of each Sector SPDR are disclosed daily on www.sectorspdrs.com. Together, the nine Sector SPDRs represent the S&P 500 as a whole. However, each can be bought or sold individually, providing undiluted exposure to a particular sector. The nine Sector SPDRS and trading symbols are: Consumer Discretionary - XLY, Consumer Staples - XLP, Energy - XLE, Financial - XLF, Healthcare - XLV, Industrial - XLI, Materials - XLB, Technology - XLK, Utilities - XLU
