Sunrise Capital Partners managing director Jason Gerlach has been elected president of the California Hedge Fund Association, effective Jan. 1. Gerlach has been at Sunrise since 2008, and he and Sunrise have been integral to the launch of the CHFA. “My sleeves are rolled up,” Gerlach said in a news release. “I am excited to do whatever it takes to make clear to the investment world that some of the best managers, service providers, and industry thought leaders are in California.”
